Dr. Eric Cerré
Dr. Eric Cerré is a highly experienced and accomplished naturopathic medical doctor with over 35 years of practice under his belt. He has dedicated his career to providing his patients with exceptional care and treatment for chronic pain, hormone imbalances, and sexual dysfunction. He believes in an “old school physician” approach to medicine, where the physician spends as much time with the patient to understand the problem.
Dr. Cerré is a cancer survivor.
He has had multiple back surgeries and has lived with chronic pain.
He’s explored a range of traditional and alternative therapies for himself and knows there is no one-size-fits-all approach to medicine. Many patients find him, after years lost in the medical maze, frustrated, overwhelmed, and hopeless. Once in his office, they find a doctor who “wears a lot of hats.” Although his specialty is musculoskeletal medicine, his knowledge of physiology is extensive, and he values a balanced approach when working with patients.
Having spent hundreds of hours in doctor's offices and hospitals, Dr. Cerré has gleaned what works and doesn't in patient care. He's left doctor's appointments feeling unappreciated and unheard and understands that the physician's ability to listen affects patient outcomes. That's why his practice is patient-centered. He never rushes appointments and aims to fix the problem in the fewest visits possible.
Dr. Cerré is a problem solver.
He uses every technique available to him to help his patients.
Patients seek Dr. Cerré out because of his reputation as a problem solver. He takes the time to get to the root of their health concerns and offers tailored solutions that address the underlying issues. He has been managing musculoskeletal conditions for most of his career and specializes in trigger point injection to resolve acute and chronic soft tissue pain.
He has studied myofascial syndrome since 1983 and was trained by a protege of Dr. Janet Travell, author of the book, “Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction, the Trigger Point Manual.” From 2001-2006, he expanded his practice in partnership with a Houston veterinarian, applying myofascial principles to performance horses.
